Ani Sipu appointed as Sales Manager at Ellerslie Events

Ellerslie Events, a leader in Auckland’s venue and event management industry, today proudly announces the appointment of Ani Sipu to the role of Sales Manager.

Sipu, who has enjoyed an internal promotion from the role of Senior Account Manager – Events at Ellerslie, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to her new position.

In the 20 months she has been with the business she has proven herself to be an invaluable member of the wider team, consistently exceeding expectations and already demonstrating strong leadership in her previous role as senior account manager – all elements that Craig Fenwick, Executive General Manager – Events at Ellerslie Events, says makes him excited about the appointment.

“We are delighted to announce Ani’s well-deserved promotion to Sales Manager. She has not only proven herself to be a master weaver in translating the wants and needs of clients into the events they dream of, but she’s unlocked new revenue streams and demonstrated real ability in creating synergy between internal teams.

“Ani’s a people person through and through, she knows what it takes to make a team tick, to blend teams together and to get everyone working together to help achieve the common goal of creating memorable events for our clients, big and small,” he says.

Ani came to Ellerslie Events with vast experience in managing teams with a previous role in Melbourne seeing her lead 25 colleagues to success.

“That experience, along with her innate understanding of the event management industry and her obvious passion for it, positions her perfectly to drive the sales initiatives in her new role and keep our team working together harmoniously,” adds Fenwick.

As sales manager, Sipu will lead the account management team and collaborate closely with multiple other departments and individuals to develop and implement strategic sales plans with a focus on further elevating Ellerslie Events’ market presence and revenue growth.

“I am thrilled about the opportunity to contribute to Ellerslie Events’ continued success in this new role. I am grateful for the support and confidence placed in me, and I look forward to leading the sales team towards achieving our ambitious goals,” she expresses.

Simultaneously, Ellerslie Events bids farewell to Vanessa Huntley, who has contributed significantly to its success over the past 4+ years in the role of Sales Manager.  Vanessa and her family have decided to embark on a new chapter in their lives, moving to another city to be closer to loved ones.

Says Fenwick on Huntley’s departure, “we express our sincere gratitude for Vanessa’s dedication and hard work during her tenure, and we wish her the very best in her future endeavours. She will most certainly leave a hole here at Ellerslie and big boots to fill, but I am confident Ani will bring her own successes to the role and look forward to what she will deliver.”
